I have rebuilt a Multicam plasma at work using a masso controller (thanks Peter and Arie for your help and advice on this)
But unfortunately I have been bitten by the CNC bug and no amount of bug spray can kill it so I am going to build my own one at home I am a fitter and Turner by trade so I would like to build my own one from scratch by plans I have looked through many guide an have seen the ripper CNC which looks good but I would like to know what you think of the design and advice on this design flaws or upgrades
I would like to get closed loop motors or Hybrid motors over standard stepper motors what size I don't know ball screws are my preference but not set in stone I'm into Rd planes so small aluminium jobs would be great any advice would be great( website for ripper is Maxmali.com)
