Plasma THC selection advice

I am ready to purchase my THC. I have been looking at the Proma site, and I see that they offer a few options. #1 is the Compact 150. #2 is the THC 150 SD. #3 is the "My Plasm THC" (panel mount). Option 3 offers two modes. It will emulate the Compact 150 and the 150SD. Is the addition of Step and Direction of any use? Does anyone have any experience with these, or any suggestions? Thank you.

Any THC module that has UP, DOWN, ARC ok signals will work with MASSO. As MASSO automatically controls the Z axis, you dont need the version that gives STEP and DIRECTION signals.
