how about a feature were first torch touch happens. then after torch fires. the torch touch input switches to a torch collision input.
using the same wire input . reason this would allow usage of the round spring loaded torch mount then it would work like the icnc system.
a feature like this should not be that hard to add. and you would be the only one with is ..

We already have a Torch Breakaway signal input available on the MASSO and you can use that, please see this:

again that is not what I suggested . what I said was. using the same input for torch touch. the torch fires the same input switches to torch breakaway.then back to torch touch after torch stops fire
it would allow the use of the torch mount below the mount below is widely used in industry it provides touch and breakaway using 1 sensor input
