Plasma touch off

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to set the controller to touch off each time before a pierce? Having a small bit of trouble getting my setup to cut several parts one after another with good cut quality (trying to get a PRICE THC working on it today too), don't know if there is settings I edit the MASSO post in SheetCAM or what, any help is very much appreciated. Is it something I change here:

Never mind, figured out. For anyone who faces my troubles. The current version of Masso software won't allow the Z axis to move either by G-code or by the jog window when the THC button in the software is "pressed"/on. Thus the G-code that I was producing needs a Cut Rule to turn off the THC at the end of each cut. This has allowed the Z axis to go to the rapid travel height and complete its probing cycle... Bish-bosh-boom, so simple how did it take me so many hours

Hi Andy,

I since realised that editing the Post is a better way for turning the THC off after every cut. Simply put the THC off code in before the torch off command see attached screen grab.

Price is working away grand for me. Just treat his instructions in the manual as gospel regards Sheetcam and the settings when starting off. Only thing he doesn't tell you is how to set the Z feed rake when the THC is on for Masso (insert the F speed into the post). SO if you make the two changes I've made this will get you going.
