I am 90% sure I'm going to purchase a DeskProto license. I've been looking for a straightforward, not buggy, CAM package that isn't Fusion 360 or anything made by Autodesk, and managed to dig into this a bit on Monday. I made some successful cuts from GCode it generated. I used a generic GRBL post processor and it seemed to work fine but what I was doing was pretty simple.
I've looked at the documentation page on post processor requirements but I'm a little unclear on what would need to happen to make a Masso-Specific one for this package, or if it's even necessary. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or should I simply use something that seems to work and hope for the best? In the past I used a Arduino/GRBL based system and it worked fine using the generic post processors that were provided in Fusion 360.
