Preferred tool setter config - NPN or PNP?

Thinking getting a tool setter designed by @scratchbuiltdesigns, he has both NPN and PNP sensor configs- which is preferred for the Masso G3.

As MASSO requires a positive voltage to trigger the inputs, therefore you need an sensor with an output that has more "positives than negatives" (unless you are planning to add a pull-up resistor). Therefore choose a sensor with a PNP output.

I skimmed through "scratchbuiltdesigns" YouTube video, two things that popped out at me:

• Most people have no idea how hard hardened linear guide rods actually are. Hard enough that hacksaw blades practically bounce off them.
• The touch plate needs to be ground / cut parallel to the base once it has been assembled. Make sure your spindle is square and then take the lightest cut with a fly cutter to ensure it is parallel to the base.
