[RESOVED] Will battery backup error keep the system from running?

I am in the process of trying to test my setup, but I am not getting any signal to my drivers.

It does look like the battery for the backup was dead. Would this keep the system from running? I have the door and e-stop hot wired so those errors are clear.

When I test the lines going to the drivers with my multi meter I get nothing when trying to move the motors.

Would the dead battery cause this? if not is there something im missing?

Thanks

the battery should be fine as its expected to run for about 4-5 years. If you see the battery fail message on the screen once while the battery is installed, just power cycle the MASSO as this is normal message that you will see once after installing the battery.

You can't measure signals with a multimeter as they are pulses.

Can you share a wiring diagram of your setup especially with the drives and model of the drives.

I was able to get it working.
I had to replace the battery it was registering under 3v. With the new battery that error has cleared.

I was also able to get the drivers working. I over looked a setting in the axis settings for the max travel.

that's great and please check that the battery is not short circuiting somewhere on the holder as the battery is not suppose to get low this quick
