Retrofitting Gerber AR600 - Driver question.

We recently purchased a Gerber AR600 CNC Router. The controls on it are trashed but the motors look to be in good shape. I don't know if I need to touch up on my search-fu or what but I have been trying to find the capabilities of the Masso to see if it can drive these motors or if it needs to go through a external driver.

Yes you can run this router with MASSO, please see the below video of a similar conversion. For the stepper motors you will need stepper drives as MASSO only provides with STEP and DIRECTION signals.
