RhinoCAM Post Processor

Has anyone created a Masso Post Processor for RhinoCAM? Is there a comparable controller Post Processor that I can use with minimal (or no) editing? If I create my own, what do I need to define in terms of formatting or anything else?

Thank you for the fast and relevant response! I've read through the linked requirements and everything seems standard. I take it to mean things like block and sequence format won't matter to the controller?

@gm

I'm not a RhinoCam user, but I had a quick look at Mach3 version and can see that it would be easy to modify it to suit MASSO.

But when I was downloading the PP I noticed this comment on the down load page.
Please note that once you have downloaded a post, it can be easily configured and/or customized using the Post Processor Generator product available in both the free as well as the commercial versions of the software.

So from this it seems that a user of RhinoCam can create their own PP to suit their machine and controller.

Arie.

@gm

I have used the Mach3 post on a lathe, The only thing I had to edit in the post was change the setting to post from radius to dia. You didn't say if it was for mill or lathe. I use BobCad. Hope I was some help.

I know this is an old post but recently I purchased Rhinocam during their end of year sale (25% discount this year) and MecSoft is helping with a post processor. I signed up for their annual maintenance subscription for a year and they said they would help provide a PP. They sent me one which seems to work so far. They said they will make changes that are needed if I have any problems. Anyway, if anyone still reads this post then just know that the Rhinocam PP for Masso is not a stumbling block.

Is the PP something you're willing/able to share? Or specific to your control software? I can't ask Rhino..

Thanks,
Matt
