Because the wizard features must be hell on the system memory if you don t use them.
or allow the memory units in G2 to be upgraded to larger capacity.

Jim,

MASSO design is not like a PC where you can plugin more or larger memory strips, its memory units are surface mounted - soldered in!

It has been requested before to drop conservational wizards to allow added / improved features to be included with the G2. Then you get people who only use conservational wizards requesting for more wizards.

The best of both worlds would be where you can select what extra features you want on your G2 from a list of feature combinations that would result in a software package of fixed size suitable for the G2. But that would require a major redesign of software to allow that to happen. Then you get to the business question would the benefits outweigh the costs?

Regards,

Arie.

Make the new software a paid patch upgrade.

would it make business sense? Not for a single unit sale no.
when you run a OEM Solution project you pass that cost back to the client.
so how about this. If there is no will from Masso to look into this. How about a free to accesses licence to any dev willing to work on the architecture. You could cover your liability with a good NDA. But the core architecture would be available. That way the any participating dev gets to hack there own masso and Masso gets a Dev team for free. Heck you could even require a submission for inspection if a core mod is claimed.
