servo amplifier compatible problem

Hi

I would like to use Masso to build a milling machine. My question is whether the Driver of TECO JSDE is compatible with the one of Masso or not.

Other than the cords, are there any settings I should be aware?

Hi @nick

Masso uses Step and direction for motion control of stepper and servos. On your unit it is called Pulse and Sign.

S+ to Pulse

S- to /Pulse

D+ to Sign

D- to /Sign

You can connect your position error alarm to any of the 24 inputs and configure then as the required axis motor alarm. You will need to configure your servo drives to the required mode for it to work.
