setting home position and Zero point

We are having a problem setting the zero on the x and y axis (have not tried z yet) eg when the y is at one end of the travel we set the min at zero and the max at 1000mm when we test the travel it will only go to about 400mm then stops. we have put the machine in a position and zeroed the x and y in the jog screen then set the min and maximum in the f1 setup screen but it does not hold these settings. when we re start Masso the setting change.

how do we set the machine home position.

also when jogging it will suddenly go to continuous mode
