Shopmaster Eldorado Bridgemill 3in1 Conversion

Hi everyone!
I thought I'd make a post to document my conversion process for my Shopmaster Bridgemill. I haven't seen any other post regarding converting a 3 in 1 and I know there will be a few challenges along the way.

My plan is to use the Masso touch for the control interface and ClearPath servo motors for the grunt work. As of the moment, unless someone here has another idea, I'm going to go with the Clearpath recommended power supply for the servos.

My use for the machine is to produce one-off pieces, not production.

Here's a link to the motor model I'd like to use for the X Y and Z axis. The 4th Axis will control the entire mill head elevation (not the spindle) and can just be a normal Open loop stepper.

Any ideas from you folks on how I can do this without any hiccups would be greatly appreciated!

Played around with different positions to mount the touch and this is what I decided was the best compromise. I can mount a DIN rail for the power supplies behind the main panel and have good cable management.

I see this is over a year old but I thought I would reply anyway. Are you able to load either the later or mill software with the 1 control? I have a newer Shopmaster Bridgemill that runs Mach3. I just load whichever (lathe or mill) and turn a switch on the machine to switch between the lathe chuck and mill spindle. They are each driven by the same VFD. I would love to replace the Mach3 setup with the Masso if can do this.
