Soft limits and MDI

I wanted to test my soft limits so I told the machine to go well beyond the travel limits but I did this in MDI. It started to move to the commanded position. Do soft limits only work when running a program or do I have something set wrong?

Hi Pat,

Soft Limits can be turned on and off under general settings.
Make sure you do not have it ticked or they will be disabled.

Soft limits always work when jogging around the table and cannot be turned off while jogging.
