Is possible to use classic inductive sensor for RPM input on milling machine instead of encoder?

you will need full quadrature encoder signals and also an index pulse

Problem is that I don't have room for encoder, but my machine has already RPM sensor but that is classic inductive sensor and four magnets on the pulley. So four pulses per rotation.

Is possible to add support for that type of RPM detection in MASSO software?

Yes, I don't need threading. Only for RPM feedback.

just for RPM I think you can just use one pulse (A input of encoder), do you have a MASSO controller?
