Hello All,
I am planning my build and I would like to use a 5 axis Masso controller for a router table that will be 49" by 100" cutting surface. I plan on using a slaved y axis with a direct drive Nema 34 steppers for the X and Z. I would like to use a 70-80v power supply and 6 amp steppers around the 1500-1700 oz/in area. I plan to run a rotary axis after I get the regular table mastered.
Soo the big question is what drives should I be looking at? I have looked at the Geko 201,203 and the Rapter but is there anything else I should be looking at? What would you use again if you could?
Does anyone have a good source for steppers? I have been doing alot of reading and it seems like the lower the induction rating the better, is there anything else I should be aware of?
Hope to document the build here and try to soak in all the info.
