I was just reading you post, I am interested because I am Thinking about retrofitting a Hurco km3p and using the existing servo motors which are still good, and use a Masso as the controller.

I looked into this a little,
They (Glentek) make a controller that would work with your motor and Masso.
Looks like the wiring might be involved, and no idea what they cost. But the ones you have don't have a step/direction input that I can see.

ya after reading another post it doesn't look,like you can use the servo drivers and motor combination as they require step and direction signals as opposed to PWM signals that they work with. I'm not sure if there is Anything that can b done about that but I will continue to research this as I need a solution to this also

hmm it appears that these drives might accept step and direction signals and reconfigure for PWM signals. Will have to investigate further when I get a minute but if this works it would mean that we could change virtually any cnc machine to a Masso control. To be continued

Yah thanks Arie for taking the time to look at that and thanks to Mike for finding it. I will email Glentek later today with specific details about my machine build to confirm that thier product will work, and also enquire about pricing. Should be a good use for the 5 axis G3 that I purchased just for the fun of it
