T# M6 command doesn't do the auto change

Hi, we have a new Cancam machine with auto tool change system. At the first week, when we input T# M6 command and ran it, the machine did auto tool change automatically. But now when we input T# M6 command, the machine pops up a window reminding we change the bit manually, then press cycle start. I wonder if we changed some setting accidently so that the machine can't do the auto tool change. Thanks!

@garyit

Gary,

From your config file

==========Tool Changer==========
- Tool changer in use: 1: Manual Tool Change

- Tool clean air blast time (ms): 0

=============X-Axis=============

So yes you managed to change to manual tool change.

From Inputs & Outputs

Input 10: Tool Changer - Input 1, Invert: No
Input 11: Tool Changer - Input 2, Invert: No
Input 12: Tool Changer - Input 3, Invert: No

Output 1: Tool Changer - Output 1, Invert: Yes
Output 5: Chuck Clamp M10/M11, Invert: No

This indicates your machine was setup with Linear Tool Changer Type 2. https://docs.masso.com.au/wiring-an...mill-tool-changers/linear-tool-changer-type-2

Regards,

Arie.
