Tangent knife connection manual

Hi Masso support,

I there any manual how to connect this tangent knife to masso controller.

I am planning to used this German Made

Oscillating Tangential Knife OTK-3

Or this

Ecocam TCM-4 tangent knife

@pinoy-cnc, you simply set the A or B axis in angular mode on MASSO and generate gcode from your CAM software that has the angle information for A/B axis.

How about the on and off of of the Oscillating knife is there an output to be used and how to control this using the Gcode?

MASSO documentation has these two commands, you will need to research how to use them and the connection of the outputs.

11.47.M62 Turn On Digital Output Synchronized With Motion​

This command is used to switched On any of the 16 auxiliary outputs.

11.48.M63 Turn Off Digital Output Synchronized With Motion​

This command is used to switched Off any of the 16 auxiliary outputs.

To masso support;

I needed to write or rewrite the post processor of masso on sheetcam to used this M62 and M63 digital output?

Hi Masso,

It's possible that I will used the spindle output to turn ON and OFF the Oscillating knife ?

Also I have sheetcam with license and I can used the post Masso sheetcam processor for tangent knife. I don't know if m3 and m5 are present in sheetcam processor?
