Hi Russel

Could you please be a little bit more specific as to what you want to change.

If you are saying that when you jog in the X + direction the X axis moves the wrong way then simply put a check mark in the invert direction box on the X axis.

Cheers Peter

Hi Russel,

So when you have the spindle in the center of the table and click the jog key labeled X+ on the screen or press the Right hand arrow key on the keyboard the X axis should move to the right and the DRO should go in the Positive direction which is the international standard.

Likewise when you press the jog key labeled Y+ on the screen the Y axis should move away from you and the DRO should go in the positive direction.

If the axis are not running in the direction that you want then go into the X or Y axis settings and check or uncheck the invert direction box and the axis will reverse direction.

Cheers Peter

Hi Russel

I'm in New Zealand.

I see. You are effectively operating from the back of the machine instead of the front and everything is reversed to standard. It you rotate your piece of paper 180 degrees you will see how it should be.
I would personally set the machine up as it should be as it will not affect the Gcode you currently have and the screen will reflect what you see on the table instead of everything being upside down when you cut your projects, but it is up to you.

If the axis are not running in the direction that you want then go into the X or Y axis settings and check or uncheck the invert direction box and the axis will reverse direction.

This video might help explain.

Cheers Peter

Hi Russel

You cannot change the screen or key settings. Masso is set up to use the international standard. -X to the left +X to the right. It cannot be changed.

If you want to have the X axis move to the left when you press the X+ or right hand arrow key then go to the F1 screen and go to the X axis. Check or uncheck the invert direction box and the axis to reverse the direction of travel. If you do this when you see the X axis moving in the positive direction to the right on the screen the X axis will move to the left on your machine as you want and visa versa. The same applies to the Y axis.

Cheers
Peter
