Trying tu run Masso without keyboard and mouse

Hello

I'm getting past configuring and fine tuning the machine which leads me to find better work flow. One thing is to run the machine with a few good push buttons instead of finding the right keys on keyboard. I can make the machine load the file using autoload.nc. I can start and stop it using the inputs.

What I'm missing is inputs to set x, y and z to zero. And a way to shift between F2 screen and F3. Preferably the screen switches automatically on pushing the enable button on the MPG pendant.

Nice product. I didn't find the perfect button layout for me though but it lead me to a Arduino solution:

I'm going to try the Arduino first and if that doesn't work I will try the X-keys.

For anyone finding this and looking for a solution something like the Ultimarc IPAC should work nicely. It should appear to the Masso as a USB keyboard (and can be connected at the same time as an actual keyboard), then you can wire up buttons to whatever inputs you like. It also supports programmable key-combos so you can have a single button emulate multiple key presses at once.

I'm just getting started with Masso and am just starting to retrofit my Gerber Sabre 408, but I have one of these, so when the time comes I'll try it out and report back.
