USB drive read file bug ?

Hi,

the machine power on, press F6 show up file list it's normal,

but when I unplug USB drive and plug back to MASSO Controller,

file list is empty .. now to flash the file list ?

so far I need Power OFF the Controller, and power on back,

How to auto flash file list when I plug the USB Drive ?

We have not seen that behaviour, can you please give some more info on the brand and exact model of the USB pen drive. Also what version of the MASSO software are you running?

when I unplug USB Driver then can't read USB any more,

need to Power OFF controller and plug USB first before Power ON,

HELP ME ... Please ~

Could you please recommand a "USB pen drive" can work well to MASSO,

All USB's should work, can you please let me know your controllers serial number and I will send you a copy of the next software release that is due to be released in the next few days.

Please load the attached file to the controller and see if the USB issue is resolved. Please NOTE that this version is only to test that the USB issue is resolved and not a stable release, so do not run your machine with this version.

  • When you plug the USB why the screen goes black, I think its a power supply issue.
  • Whats the power supply voltage and amps, I think your power supply is not providing enough amps to the MASSO.

  1. ok that means we can rule out the power supply issue.
  2. So does the screen still goes black when you plug the USB?
  3. Have you tied to format one of the USB's to FAT32?
  4. So when you plug in the USB and nothing is displayed, is the keyboard and mouse working?

  1. The screen should not go black at all, never seen this happen to any of our controllers, so there is something wrong here.
  2. Looking at your screen, what language are you using on your computer?
  3. Can you make an image of one of the USB pen drives and email us the copy so that we can test. You can use this software to make the image: https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
  4. If the image is too big to email then please send via WeTransfer https://wetransfer.com/

My computer OS is "macOS High Sierra 10.13.3", language Chinese(Traditional) ,

format USB drive to FAT32.

2.

make the USB disk IMAGE file, need windows OS, I will find another computer to do that,

but need a few days, I will help you to fix this issue.

Can you please let us know what software you used to make this image file as the file does not have an extension.

Thanks for the USB pen drive image file. We loaded the image file to a USB pen drive but there were no files or folders in it. Just wanted to confirm if you had any files or folders in the USB image file.

Also, check and double check all of your wiring.

On a PC this same action (screen goes black w/ USB plugged in) usually happens when there is a short (or bad drivers/chipset).
