Hello everyone, the usb ports of the masso are working fine but i want to use a usb extension cable to connect flash drive to the masso so that i don't have to open the panel box every time to plug in pendrive). I tried some different male to female usb cables but they don't seem to work with masso but they work fine with my personal computer. Is there any special type of usb cable required for masso?

Any USB extension should work, I've seen several Masso users with USB extensions on their control panels. The only thing I can think of is that the extensions you have tried may be too long. Try and get the shortest one possible. It might be overkill but you could also try and get one with ferrite chokes if you are in a busy workshop.

You haven't mentioned what model of MASSO you are running, but any quality USB extension cable should work.

I'm using a short (~ 1 foot) cable on a G2 connected to the USB stick port, that just hangs outside the electronics control cabinet for software updates only and a powered 4 port USB hub connected to the keyboard port for keyboard, mouse and program USB stick, that is mounted in the monitor/keyboard cabinet.
