G'day,

I'm in the process of wiring up mu 3dtek Router, when I plug in a USB flash drive into the port, the whole system hangs and I have to reboot the Masso, everything stops including the E-Stop function, all Motion and keyboard function, nada do you have any idea's as to what could be causing this.

Lyndon.

  1. Can you please let us know your controller's serial number
  2. Please also have a look at the top right corner of the screen and let us know the software version you are running.

Ok so here's the latest, I had an old Microsoft Wireless Keyboard that emulates a hard wired keyboard with a remote receiver rather than a dongle, I swapped the logitec wireless keyboard and dongle and plugged in the Microsoft, Hey Presto !! I can now plug in my flash drive and still operate the keyboard and all its functions. I downloaded a small .tap file and it all seems to be working ok. I then opened the mdi window and added a gcode file and it saved to the flash drive ok, so I'm thinking it was the Logitec wireless dongle causing the issues.

My serial # is 1945

software version is 3.25

As you are running v3.25, this was the last stable release that was done with the old USB drivers, since then we have updated the drivers and I think the issue might not be with the old keyboard and is the old USB drivers on MASSO.

Here is the link to the new software release info: https://www.masso.com.au/docs/masso-software-release-notes/masso-software-update-v3-28a/

Please let us know if you want us to email you the new alpha software copy.
