Hi all,
I am happy to join this community and excited as I wait for delivery of my MASSO Controller.
My CNC adventure started out poorly after the purchase of the ChinaCNC 6040Z USB 2.2kw cnc router. In the 12 months I have had this machine only the spindle cooling pump & the Spindle have been run. I was never able to get Mach3 to installed correctly and with limited OEM tech support I lost faith in that product.
Enter MASSO and the CNC conversion and again I feel to be back on-track and moving forward. Once I have completed the MASSO conversion my dream of a hobby machine shop will be realised.
About the man?
A fitter machinist by trade, a little CNC experience along the way, worked to many years as a contractor, was involved in a major vehicle accident 15years ago and was no longer able to work in that field. So now I am a Stores Person/Technical Support for a high-end instrumentation sales company here in Western Australia. Happily working out the next 14 years until I think of retiring at 70.
I am a proud man but never to proud to ask for help, or offer it when asked. I believe there are no stupid questions, and it's stupid people who cannot offer a useful answer.
