The 15 pins sub-D connector for the MPG has two free pins.
Is it possible to use them as a input?
I was looking for the possibility to add two extra buttons to the handheld MGP (start and stop).
The "additional inputs" do not appear on the F1 screen and therefore can not be used by the Masso controller.
All the inputs are opto-isolated - you can lift the cover off and count how many 4 pin chips there is on the board (there are 38 excluding the 2 for the spindle output). The total should match all the wired inputs (including the 3 encoder terminals) and all the inputs from the MPG pendant (for the G3 controller: 24 regular inputs + 3 encoder inputs + 1 E-stop input + 10 MPG [5 axis + 3 resolution + 2 rotary dial] = 38 opto-isolators).
