v3.38 not updating

Followed direction but each time when I boot up the Masso it doesn't update (no yellow bar).

What should I be checking?

Made sure USB stick was formatted correctly and file names were not changed.

Have you read the how to update page/ video? ...

@angelars make sure you plug the USB directly into the USB port on the Masso. Does not work if you install it in a USB hub.

Yes, plugged directly into the Masso as per the instruction page. Formatted for fat32. File names have not changed.

I've updated before and it worked great, that's why I'm wondering why this update isn't working.

As soon as I turn the Masso on it goes directly to the password menu page, no yellow update bar...

Have you tried a different USB drive?

Also some users have reported that on some drives changing the allocation unit size can have a difference, can you please try different settings.

Just updated the Heavy Mill.

First attempt got progress bar 100%, restarted MASSO with USB stick left in it repeated upload and requested restart.

Second attempt, removed USB before restart and MASSO started OK with v3.38 loaded.

Third try, with update files still on USB stick, MASSO reloaded update and requested restart, etc.

Forth try, with update files removed from USB stick, MASSO started OK.

Yes, bought new drive.

Formatted for Fat32.

Installed both files.

Inserted in Masso (with Masso off).

Turned power on.

Masso went straight to main screen asking for password.

Tried both USB ports, same outcome.

At this point I'm thinking it must be something with the files sent.

Could they be resent?

it looks like MASSO is unable to rename the file after finishing the update, MASSO renames the after the update so that it does not reload the software again on power up. So in this case please just delete the files from the USB after loading the update.

just emailed the files again and if you want we can do this over the phone as its been going on for few days and we can get this sorted on priority.
