Wi-Fi Antenna Mount

Hi Guys,

I just finished 3d Printing a new mount for the Wi-Fi Antenna on my new Masso G3 CNC Controller and thought I should share the files here so others can benefit. Uses 2 of the existing screws on the cover for ease of installation. See the attached Fusion 360 and STL files below.

That has to be one of the better uses of a 3D printer I have seen. I shudder when I think of all the plastic rubbish people make with those machines, because they can, only to them throw away.

It makes a really good addition to Masso I reckon.

I know what you mean. I'm enjoying the freedom to create and the sense of accomplishment it brings to the design process. If you recall @ethan-downey made an umbrella tool changer for his mill using a 3d printer.

I bought a 20" SMA antenna lead and a 18" 12 DBI antenna. The longer lead allows me to mount the antenna to the outside of the enclosure. The leads snapped right into the WIFI module and is plenty long to run up to the antenna.

A longer cable and larger antenna is a nice option too. Thanks for sharing @halfstep.
