Will Masso ever be able to do more than one line programing in MDI?

Hi Jim,

Masso MDI does not and never will support multiple lines of Gcode. That is not the purpose of MDI. You can type the lines in one at a time.

When you want multiple lines why not write the gcode using the tools in Masso CTRL+N and CTRL+E. You can save and run the gcode as often as you like. If you want to run the lines of gcode one at a time then use Single Block on the F2 page and step through the lines using the Cycle start CTRL+S

You would need to try the Mach3 post and see.

I know you have told me what cam software you use but I have forgotten. Is there no post available your it?

Cheers Peter

Do you use the CTRL+N and CTRL+E while on the MDI screen?I had Bob from BC Canada send me a simple one tool face and turn prog. with the post he uses and it ran on my lathe, after I got the tool settings right. So you guy did a great job helping me out.

Thanks

Jim

Both are part of the Gcode editor for making and editing short Gcode files and have nothing to do with MDI but you use them in the F2 screen

CTRL+N is create new Gcode file

CTRL+E is to edit the loaded Gcode file

Once you finish save the file and it will save to your USB flash drive and load ready to run.

Hallo, when I try to use the editor with cntrl-E, the arrow keys and the "U" and " D" keys are still in jog-mode. So the spindelhead moves while scrolling true te gcode or type a d/u in a comment. Can i switch that off?

Cheers Ren
