Wireless Controller Software updates?

Hi

Forgive me if I have missed something but it would be very useful to send new software updates to Masso wirelessly

Can this be done, if not could it be implemented?

I am using G3's with latest 4.02 and Masso Link v2.0

David,

MASSO Link v2.0 was designed to be able to do just that. https://docs.masso.com.au/getting-started-guides/machining-with-masso/wi-fi-connectivity

Enter the folder you wish to send the software to eg. MASSO in the textbox with the folder symbol at the end of it, drag the software update onto the MASSO Link window and press send.

Then go through the software install procedure at the machine.

I raised the topic as I could find no mention in the documentation, I still cannot see it mentioned on the linked page you posted

I tried today to upload a .HTG software file, which failed with the message this is not a G code file, I was attempting to send it to the MASSO folder as directed

Could you have a look into this please
