"Wiring diagram" for MPG Pendant Handwheel with Emergency Stop

Just thought this might help. Got mine today Wiring diagram all in Chinese, it's a shame I forgot how to read and write Chinese!

I think it will help in conjunction with the Masso diagram.

I have a question about the Pin 1. The diagram has the red wire 5v+ and the purple wire COM for the DB15 wiring. Do they both go to Pin 1?

Hi gkohle

If your MPG voltage requires 5 volts then red wire will not go directly to pin 1 of the DB15 because that is at the MASSO voltage level so will be either 12 or 24 volts. You would need a voltage regulator as shown in the diagram to make it match your MPG voltage requirements.
If your MPG is designed to be used with 24 volts then you will not need the regulator and the +ve terminal on the MPG can go direct to pin 1 of the DB15
The Purple COM wire shown also goes to pin 1 of the DB 15
In this case COM refers to a common connection which in this case is +ve from Pin1 on the DB15.

When wiring in voltage regulator, Pin one to voltage regulator +V, (Red Wire) and 0V/ground (Both Black Wires on in and out of voltage regulator to body? Regulator I have is 24 VDC to 5 VDC.
