X & Y axis coordinated moves

test path
test circle

The pictures show a test cut where small circles aren't circular and a diagonal move i.e. X & Y are moving at the same time where X axis seems to lag behind Y for a moment causing a bump in what should be a straight line.

I've checked the gantry for square, axis calibration, backlash. All are OK and I don't have the same problem when using Mach3 on the same machine.

The extent of the error reduces when I reduce axis acceleration yet it still exists. Strange that the move starts from the right position then deviates then corrects.

This machine has clearpath servos on it so if an axis was to get that far out of position the motor should fault & stop.

This leads me to think something might be going on with the MASSO.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

This was occurring with V3.35.1 & V3.36

Yep ran same file again twice with V3.30beta. Repeatability spot on

Same result. Forgot to run the file that showed the look ahead bug.

My uneducated guess is there is something going on with the pulses going to the servos

Looks like X axis starts off OK then lags for a second then catches up with Y

Uploaded files are from this V3.30 beta setup

Thanks for the settings file @solargrown, the settings look good.

So now you can load v3.30b and run the same file without any issues and when you load v3.36 then it does not run properly? When you switch between these two versions, do you change any setting or just simply run the file?

Can you please share the gcode file.

thanks @solargrown, we are looking into this as we just received another report of a similar issue, will update you after some tests as it looks like something software related.
